Hasta el momento se ha reportado cerca de 1,300 personas fallecidas en ambas naciones. . El presidente de #Türkiye , Recep Tayyip Erdogan, expresó mediante un comunicado oficial que al menos 912 personas murieron y otras 5.400 resultaron heridas mientras 2.818 edificios se derrumbaron producto del temblor. Además, se ha ordenado el corte de gas en toda la zona afectada ante las más de 50 réplicas reportadas del sismo, cuyos temblores fueron perceptibles hasta en Groenlandia, según dio a conocer el instituto geológico danés. . Líderes y altos funcionarios internacionales enviaron sus condolencias además de brindar ayuda a los pueblos y autoridades de #Türkiye y #Siria El titular de la OMS, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, comunicó que fue activada la red de equipos médicos de emergencia.
